A comic whodunnit set in the 1960s, originally a vehicle for Irene Handl. Detective Superintendent Harry Baxter is called to an office building to investigate a murder. He finds the main witness is his old friend Mrs Piper: ever helpful with suggestions, lines of enquiry and theories. Now he has to solve a complicated murder mystery with several equally likely suspects.
