Underground
by Michael Sloan, directed by David Bacon
1-3 December 2022
Twelve people are trapped in a darkened London Underground train carriage. When the lights come up, there is a chilling revelation: there is a murderer aboard and nowhere to run. A tense and claustrophobic thriller emerges as the fear of being trapped underground with very little air and apparently no rescue in sight. Panic and fear give way to suspicion and accusation as the dozen passengers seek to save themselves and unmask the killer. Chelsfield originally scheduled this play for November 1995, making it the longest delay in the history of London Transport. |
