1946, date and venue unknown
New 66 And All That (with additions) was produced in 1946 or possibly 1947 and was based on the bestselling satirical history book 1066 And All That by RJ Yeatman and WC Sellar. Although a stage version already existed, the Players decided to produce their own adaptation. The content can only be guessed at, except that it included a performance – one hopes a parody – of the ghastly sentimental ballad ‘Little Rosa’.
