Season’s Greetings is a 1980 comedy about four days in the life of a dysfunctional family, starting on Christmas Eve, and set in an ordinary English suburban house. Alan Ayckbourn is probably Britain’s most popular playwright in the amateur theatre, but this was the Players’ first attempt at one of his plays. Seven more were to follow in the 1990s.
