Macbeth
by William Shakespeare; producer Brian Matthew
15-17 August 1963, Deepdene, Oxenden Wood Road
The Players returned to the garden of the Hansens’ house in Chelsfield Park for their now traditional outdoor Shakespeare production. This time the show was a charity performance in aid of the Freedom From Hunger campaign. Fortunately, it was the first of these Shakespeare productions to make a profit, all of which (and more) went to the charity. |
