Some "Confusions"
by Alan Ayckbourn; producers Bernard West, Lestrine Wishart and Mark Brace
30 November – 2 December 1995
Everything went wrong in the lead-up to the autumn show in 1995 such that the planned production of Underground by Michael Sloan had to be shelved, replaced at short notice by three one-act plays by Alan Ayckbourn from a suite of five plays that went under the collective title Confusions. Another of the quintet, Gosforth’s Fete, was performed outdoors the following summer. Mother Figure and Between Mouthfuls were revived in 2019, with Underground finally making it to the stage in 2022. |
