The Late Edwina Black
by William Dinner & William Morum; produced by Lestrine Wishart
1-3 August 1991
The Late Edwina Black is a melodramatic murder mystery set in the Victorian era. A post-mortem reveals that Edwina Black’s body is full of arsenic. Inspector Martin’s suspicions naturally fall on widower Gregory Black and the dead woman’s companion Elizabeth, who have motive and opportunity and are secretly lovers. In the absence of proof, Martin sets out to trap them, hoping that they will inadvertently implicate themselves. |
